Players will be provided training based out of the Philosophy of US Soccer Grassroots framework which is included below for these ages.
Utilize paid Matchfit Academy to implement training plans and further develop our players while allowing parents to better enjoy the development from the sidelines.
Create more time slots so kids can have more opportunities through the week and we could create smaller groups with the training being run by paid professionals from MatchFit Surf Academy.
Activities based around actual skills used within game play with a strong focus on 1v1, 2v2, 2v1. Leading to an understanding of how to develop in to the larger sided games such as 4v4.
Group players based on skill to allow for development and not have players overwhelmed at early ages by more physically developed or skilled players.
Players will be able to use both feet with some level of comfort, be able to display good passing form and understand physical play.
Ball is always in play and there is never more than 1-2 times while waiting in a line.
Ratio of coach to player should be no larger than 10 to 1 during Fall and Spring sessions, slightly larger during the Winter and Summer sessions.
Players are prepared for travel soccer, and we are able to field EDP level teams with all of our first teams, MOSA Premier or Nat 1 with second teams, and competitive teams with all other levels of their Nats.
Year round activities with sessions given during the Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer seasons.
The more your child plays the better they will become, we want to be able to help them on this journey to become the best they can be.
