Recreational Soccer Program For the 23/24 Season
Is Now Closed.
This program is tailored specifically for children in the U7 and U8 age groups and serves to enhance the skills taught in the Clinic program, while introducing these children to the concept of competition.
It also provides a place to play and learn for the older child, in the U9 through U12 age groups, whose skills, experience, or level of interest/willingness to commit might not be sufficiently strong to allow them to succeed in the travel team program.
The Recreational program has a 10-week league season in Fall and 10-week league season in spring, and games are played on Saturdays between 8am and 4pm. Depending on who the home team is, Recreational games can be held anywhere in Ocean County.
2023/2024 Recreational Soccer will include
10 (1 hour) paid trainer run practices in the Fall 2023
10 (1 hour) paid trainer run practices in the Spring 2024
Due to the number of teams, players, training hours & locations,
the paid trainer run sessions are determined by TRFC.
Coach run practices, times and days are determined by the coach of the individual team.
Recreational teams typically practice once or twice weekly.
2023/2024 Registration Closes August 7, 2023 at 5:00 PM
Cost for Recreation soccer is $349.00 and includes both Fall and Spring seasons.

Players can pick out their favorite number
Each player will need the following
for the 23/24 Season.
Blue Shirt
White Shirt
Blue Shorts
Blue Socks.
Please note: Recreational Uniforms are different from Travel Uniforms.
The kids will need the following equipment for practices
Soccer Cleats — Please make sure they are soccer,
as the ref’s will not allow cleats for other sports.
Shin Guards
Water
Soccer Ball – Size 3 for U7 and U8 Kids
Size 4 for U9 and U12
Size 5 for U13 and Up
U7 to U12 Recreational teams play in the Ocean County Recreational League.
